What a session is like, and what I believe helps.
What a session is like
Fifty minutes, a room with two chairs and a window, or a video call from wherever you are. You talk; I listen and ask. Nothing is required of you — not a story, not a goal, not a breakthrough. Some sessions are quiet. That's fine.
What I believe helps
Being understood by someone steady. Small changes that stick, rather than big ones that don't. Naming the thing — out loud, to another person — which is harder and more useful than it sounds.
What I draw on
The relationship between us is itself part of the work. How it feels to be heard here tells us something about how it feels everywhere else.
Learning to make room for hard feelings instead of fighting them, and to act on what matters to you anyway.
A structured way of processing memories that stay too loud — using eye movements or tapping while you hold the memory in mind. It sounds strange. It's well-researched, and I'll explain it fully before we ever use it.
What I'm not
Not a crisis service. Not a prescriber. Not a quick fix. If you need any of those, I'll help you find them.
