Counselling for anxiety, grief and the big changes.
A quiet room with two chairs, and a counsellor who's been doing this since 2014. You don't need to know what to say. We'll start where you are.
Fifty minutes · $160 · receipts for extended health · a few reduced-fee places

Something has been going on for a while.
The worry won't switch off, and your body won't settle, and you're tired of being tired.
Someone died, or something ended, and everyone else seems to have moved on.
Your life changed — a baby, a job, a divorce, retirement — and you haven't caught up with it.
Relational, mostly. Practical when that helps.
A session is fifty minutes in a room with two chairs. You talk; I listen and ask. I draw on relational therapy, ACT and EMDR — each explained in plain words on the next page, because an acronym on its own is no use to anyone.
How I work
Said plainly, so you don't have to ask.

Eight years in community mental health. Private practice since 2022.
I'm a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #4471) with a Master's in Counselling Psychology from UBC. I grew up in Nanaimo, swim at Kits Pool most mornings, and still think the most useful thing I can offer is to be steady.
More about meIt's fine to say “I don't know.”
Before: a short email exchange and a consent form. The hour: I'll ask what brings you here, and we'll talk about what you'd like to be different. After: you decide whether to come back. No pressure, no package.
